CommonLook PDF – Introduction (3-Hour Webinar)

Duration: 3 hours (11:30 a.m. EDT on the first and third Thursday of each month.)

This webinar-based training module provides a foundation for new CommonLook PDF users to help them feel comfortable using the software and more successful with PDF remediation.

  • Creating and converting tags.
  • Fixing reading order.
  • Tagging images.
  • Tagging simple lists.
  • Tagging simple tables.
  • Verification.

Stepping Stones in CommonLook PDF

Duration: 1 hour (Offered on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 1pm, Eastern time.)
Prerequisite: Intro to CommonLook PDF Webinar

On a rotating basis, webinar topics will include:

  • Tables.
  • Lists.
  • Links.
  • Tables of Contents.
  • Forms.
  • Footnotes and Endnotes.
  • Advanced functionality in CommonLook PDF including Search Tags, Tag Similar, Find and Replace, “User” tags, and Bookmarks

CommonLook PDF – Remediator Pro (certificate)

Course Code: CLPCR
Duration: 3 hours
Prerequisite: Completion of all CommonLook PDF self-paced training modules.

Earning the CL PDF Certified Remediator credential combines a blended learning approach—beginning with self-paced CommonLook PDF training, then participating in this live webinar-based review. During the webinar portion of the certification process, users review concepts and skills with a CommonLook trainer, immediately followed by taking the exam. The completed test must be submitted within 24 hours to be considered for certification.

  • Proper use of Heading tags.
  • Tables of Contents.
  • Header/footer pagination best practices.
  • Complex data tables.
  • Lists.
  • Captions – figures and tables.
  • Links.
  • Fillable forms.
  • Footnotes – tagging and reading order.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens, and sometimes emergencies come up.  If you are enrolled in a class, and a situation arises that you cannot attend, please get in touch with your Account Executive and your trainer as soon as you become aware of a conflict.  Out of respect for the trainer’s time, we kindly request that you give notice as soon as possible.  We will work with you to reschedule your training.
