Manager, Secure PII Processing – Full Time

Reports to: Director, Alternative Format Operations

Position Summary

Manager, Secure PII Processing, is responsible for overseeing the alternate format data processing operations, ensuring the efficient and secure processing of data. This role involves leading a team of data professionals, implementing best practices for data processing, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the processing department, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any challenges.
  • Organizes workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Leads data processing teams providing regular feedback, training, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement data processing strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Implement quality control standards to guarantee the production of high-quality products.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline and improve data processing workflows and systems.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of data by adhering to data protection measures and compliance protocols.
  • Works closely with other departments to understand their data needs and ensure that data processing supports organizational functions.
  • Determines the necessary workforce, materials, and other resources for operations.
  • Communicates processing progress, potential delays, and relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Evaluates and implements new technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Oversee the generation of accurate and timely data reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Provides training and development opportunities for team members to keep them updated on the latest data processing techniques and technologies.
  • Promotes a dedication to customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis and to promote a positive understanding of Company objectives in this regard.
  • Approves time records and requests for time-off for staff as well as monitors and manages all overtime and vacation leave.
  • Attends manager’s meetings with other members of the management team within Allyant to discuss corporate wide issues and share best practices.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum completion of high school diploma or 5+ years equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience in a related role.
  • Familiarity with data processing principles and ability to integrate them into production operations.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat, PDF

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong relationships, mentoring and team building skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks of self and others and troubleshoot problems and issues.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Capable of making independent decisions and taking initiative to achieve goals.
  • Attention to detail for both physical and digital outputs.
  • Proficient in MS Office and production software; familiarity with data processing tools is an asset.

Language

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Spanish or French would be an asset
